As of 2025, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) has updated the requirements for obtaining the e.firma (formerly FIEL) for legal entities. Now, two additional written statements are required:<\/p>\n

  1. Declaration of RFC of partners, shareholders or associates, in case they are not included in the articles of incorporation.<\/li>\n
  2. RFC statement of the partner or shareholder with effective control of the legal entity, in accordance with article 27, section B, section VI of the Federal Tax Code (CFF).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
