Raquel Buenrostro, head of the Tax Administration Service (SAT), affirmed that in the economic package that will be delivered to Congress tomorrow, September 9, 2022, modifications to the Miscellaneous tax will be included and only the fees and rates will be adjusted to the corresponding inflation.

The official mentioned: "The good news for everyone is that the SAT, for this year, for the package that is going to be presented, did not send a single modification proposal."

One of the main reasons given for not making changes is to generate legal certainty for foreign companies and thereby increase the attraction of said investment to the country. Of which I comment:

"We no longer want to delay the decision-making of foreign investment, which falls, and by next year we will have more spaces"

In reference to the Simplified Trust Regime (RESICO), which has been in force since January 1 of this year, I comment that the SAT is working on clarifying all the inaccuracies for its better application through administrative rules.
